Intro

The HPA's Radiation Protection Division has teams of individually certificated Radiation Protection Advisers based at Chilton, Leeds and Glasgow. This provides nationwide coverage and a rapid response in case of an incident. The organisation as a whole has been granted RPA Body recognition by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

Through such breadth and depth of expertise customers always have access to a suitably experienced adviser and do not have to rely upon an individual, alone.

What is the role of the RPA?

Find out about the role of the RPA and the legal requirement for certificated RPAs or RPA Bodies as required by the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 (IRR99).
